Second Corinthians

Chapter 12

  1. V. 9 of this chapter is amazing; "My Grace is sufficient for you..." What an awesome statement! This is why Christianity is the only religion that cannot be earned. The Christian is guaranteed unmerited favor through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. We can live free from worry and know that God only asks us to "believe on the Lord Jesus Christ" , to "run the race set before us", and to "work out our salvation with fear and trembling" (that is to live what we believe). God takes care of the rest.

  2. I like verse 10- and i always think of this one when life is seemihg to throw one (or ten) more things than I can handle. So true thoug that it is at our weakest moment when we fully depend on god that we exhibit the greatest strength.

  3. Jesus' words in verse 9 truly sum up the Gospel. What a verse indeed, Josh

And verse 10 is His Words lived out, like you said Mary.

What a great reminder that we simply can't live our lives in Christ WITHOUT Christ. I know this is an obvious "duh", but HE is STRONGEST when we are weakest and yielding to Him. We need this TRUTH stamped in our hearts and minds.

  4. Hey guys it's me Karyn (Mary, I know you sent me an invite to the blog can you please send it to me again when you have time, I am a slacker and it expired) AMAZING GRACE!!! We are so blessed and so often I forget to just thank Him and worship Him. I fall back into the things that are of the world like verse 20 talks about. I become lazy and undisciplined a lot of the time. (more times than I care to admit) I just know that through my weakness He is strong and I need to rely on Him more rather than my own self. (Kind of what I talk about in small group almost every week) Glad I decided to pick up God's Word today and thankful I get to share with all of you ...Love you guys
