Joshua 1:8

"...[B]ut you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success." (Joshua 1:8).

"You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me." (John 5:39).

"And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart." (Jeremiah 29:13).

September 5 - Acts 25 & 26

  1. You can't really read 25 and not read 26. Paul's message to King Agrippa was forthright, honest, and real. I think Festus' conscience was pricked by Paul's appeal. What do you think of Agrippa's response? Paul would indeed witness in Rome just as Jesus told him.

  2. Today I'm reading Acts 24. Tomorrow/Friday I suppose I will read 25 and 26...

v27 - 2 years had passed. Is this 2 years in prison total?
v26 Felix sounds like a corrupt fellow.

  3. I too was curious as to whether or not the 2 years was referring to how long Paul was held or if it was just eluding to Felix's term of 2 years was up. Not sure. I agree. Felix did whatever was beneficial to him - not unlike many politicians today.
